The Security Center was founded by William “Bill” Dozier in 1963. Established under the name Dozier Bank Vault Company, the business was centered on servicing financial institutions in North Texas with safe and vault maintenance and repair.
As technology began to evolve, so did our business and in 1968 we made the decision to expand into alarm and monitoring systems. This expansion presented a new opportunity, so in 1970 we updated our name to The Security Center and established ourselves as the premier provider of security solutions for banks and credit unions across Texas and New Mexico.
By 1998 we added additional offices throughout Texas and New Mexico and expanded our territory. We even engineered and patented several products still on the market today, creating the IRIS Digital Video Systems division. The business quickly became a one-stop-shop for all security solutions and an industry leader in security solutions.
The Security Center services two of the five top financial institutions in the United States with locations across Texas and New Mexico. In addition to banks and financial institutions, we have expanded our reach to serve commercial businesses, educational institutions, and government entities.
